GoodWe’s Next-Generation 100kW Hybrid Inverter: A New Benchmark for C&I Energy Storage
As commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage projects grow in scale and complexity, system designers are demanding more than raw power. Flexibility, safety, expandability, and long-term efficiency are now decisive factors. With the launch of the GoodWe ET Series 75–100kW three-phase hybrid inverter, GoodWe is responding directly to these market requirements, delivering a platform designed to operate reliably across almost all C&I energy storage scenarios.
Positioned as the core of GoodWe’s C&I storage portfolio, the ET 75–100kW inverter is engineered to integrate seamlessly with GoodWe BAT 100–112 kWh high-voltage batteries and the STS 125 kW static transfer switch, forming a complete, future-ready energy storage solution for peak shaving, backup power, and grid-interactive applications.
Full-Chain Flexibility from PV to Storage
One of the defining strengths of the ET Series is its ability to maximize energy harvest while maintaining exceptional system flexibility. With eight independent MPPTs, support for up to 200% DC oversizing, and 42A per MPPT, the inverter is fully compatible with today’s high-current 182 mm and 210 mm PV modules. This allows system designers to extract more energy even from complex rooftop layouts and large-scale commercial arrays.
The ET 75–100kW supports both DC-coupled and AC-coupled architectures, giving EPCs full freedom in project design. DC coupling minimizes conversion losses and improves round-trip efficiency, while AC coupling enables storage retrofits on existing PV plants without modifying the original PV wiring, inverters, or MPPT structure. This dual approach makes the ET Series equally suitable for new builds and retrofit projects.
To support demanding C&I load profiles, the inverter features dual independent battery inputs with a combined 220A charge and discharge capability, delivering the fast response and high power required for peak shaving, load shifting, and backup operation.
Safety and Reliability Built for Industrial Reality
In C&I environments, reliability is non-negotiable. The ET Series has been awarded the TÜV Rheinland Certificate for Comprehensive Environmental Adaptability, confirming stable operation in challenging outdoor and industrial conditions.
Advanced safety functions are embedded throughout the system. AFCI 3.0 provides rapid arc-fault detection on the PV side, while RSD 2.0 enables fast shutdown for enhanced operational safety. Continuous temperature monitoring on both AC and DC terminals helps prevent overheating, and integrated protections such as reverse polarity detection and insulation monitoring safeguard the system against electrical faults.
A smart DC circuit breaker adds an additional protection layer by automatically isolating the system in the event of reverse polarity, terminal overheating, or internal short circuits—protecting both equipment and personnel without manual intervention.
Reliable Backup Power and Scalable Expansion
When paired with the GoodWe STS 125 kW, the ET 75–100kW delivers UPS-level backup performance with a transfer time of less than 4 milliseconds, ensuring uninterrupted power supply for critical loads during grid disturbances.
The STS smart port architecture allows a single interface to manage multiple functions, including generator start-stop control and flexible switching between generators and high-power loads. This makes the solution especially attractive for industrial sites, logistics centers, and facilities with mixed backup requirements.
Combined with GoodWe BAT 100–112 kWh high-voltage batteries, the ET Series forms a tightly matched storage system that allows batteries to discharge close to their full rated capacity, ensuring strong power output and efficient energy utilization.
For larger installations, the ET 75–100kW can be paralleled in systems of up to 15 units using the SEC3000C smart energy controller. This also enables mixed parallel operation with GoodWe grid-tied inverters, allowing PV plants to be expanded with storage gradually and economically over time.
Designed for Real-World C&I Sites
Beyond performance, the ET Series is engineered for real-world operating conditions. Ultra-low noise operation below 60 dB makes it suitable for noise-sensitive environments such as office campuses, business parks, and public facilities. Reverse-rotating fans support automatic dust removal, reducing maintenance requirements in dusty industrial settings.
With 110% three-phase unbalanced load capability and 150% AC overloading for 10 seconds, the inverter handles demanding and uneven loads such as motors, compressors, and other impact-heavy equipment with confidence.
A Future-Ready C&I Energy Storage Platform
By combining the ET Series 75–100kW inverter with the STS 125 kW and BAT 100–112 kWh battery systems, GoodWe delivers a safe, efficient, and highly flexible energy storage solution designed to grow alongside customer needs. Whether for peak shaving, backup power, or hybrid PV-plus-storage projects, the ET Series offers a robust foundation for modern C&I energy systems.
The GoodWe ET 75–100kW is not just an inverter—it is a scalable energy platform built for the next phase of commercial and industrial electrification.
